It’s Crunch Time... literally. This Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pizookie is what happens when dessert and gains join forces. Made with our Earth Fed Muscle’s Crunch Time peanut butter protein, this gooey, chocolatey treat is packed with rolled oats, applesauce, and just the right amount of PB to hit that sweet spot. It's warm, melty, and loaded with LOTS of chocolate chips—because we don’t mess around when it comes to dessert. Grab a spoon, this one’s meant to be shared… or not. ;)
*Pro Tip: this can also be eaten as a pre-workout snack if you want to crush your leg day
Ingredients:
- ½ cup Crunch Time Peanut Butter Cookie Whey (or Power Couple Peanut Butter Chocolate!)
- 2-3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 ⅓ cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- *LOTS* of chocolate chips
Recipe:
In a medium bowl, mix the protein powder and milk until it reaches a nut butter consistency.
Next, add in the peanut butter and applesauce. STIR!
To make oat flour, blend your rolled oats in a blender until they reach a flour consistency. Pour your oat flour and baking powder into the bowl, mix well until little to no chunks remain.
Once combined, fold in your chocolate chips. Pour the dough in a parchment paper lined circular dish, sprinkle juuuust a few more chocolate chips ◡̈.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
