Are your supplements certified?

Yes! Our whey, creatine, and collagen are Eurofins NSF/ANSI 173 Certified. NSF/ANSI 173 is the only American National Standard that establishes test methods, evaluation criteria, and manufacturing requirements for dietary and nutritional supplements.

Do you test for heavy metals?

YES. Our whey, collagen and creatine offerings are Eurofins NSF/ANSI 173 Certified, meaning they fall well below the daily allowable levels determined by the EPA, WHO, and California's Prop 65 Program.
Eurofins testing requires limits under .01 mg/day – an even stricter requirement than Prop65.

All Earth Fed Muscle Whey Protein recommended daily servings (2/day) are well below the daily thresholds, averaging:

  • Arsenic: <0.000310 mg/day (max .01 mg/day)
  • Lead: <0.000155 mg/day (max 0.01 mg)
  • Cadmium: <0.000694 mg/day (max .0041 mg)

What is a Prop 65 warning?

Supplements containing ingredients grown in the ground naturally absorb tiny amounts of elements from the earth and water, such as lead, cadmium, and mercury.

Prop 65 is a California-based law that requires companies selling products in the state of California to disclose any and all levels of these naturally occurring elements.

California sets lead warning limits at 0.5 micrograms per day, which is 1,000 times lower than levels shown to cause no harm.

Earth Fed Muscle's Eurofins testing requires limits under .01 mg/day – an even stricter requirement than Prop65.
