Mr. Peanut Died Peanut Butter Chocolate Muffins

Mr. Peanut Died Peanut Butter Chocolate Muffins

When the news broke this week about Mr. Peanut's untimely demise, we were all a bit shell-shocked here at EFM. Whenever something like this happens, it's tough to crack the emotions that will be dealt with, sometimes it feels like a kick in the 🥜. We felt like we had to honor the memory of our dear, gentle-but-allergic friend who has caused so much trouble in elementary school cafeterias across the land.

So, we made some serious chocolate peanut butter muffins to honor our homie! Get that Friends with Benefits Truly Grass Fed Whey Protein and get some muffins crackin!

Ingredients

1 medium ripe banana
1 large egg
1/2 heaping cup of creamy peanut butter
3 tablespoons of honey (agave or maple syrup okay too!)
1 scoop Friends With Benefits Chocolate - Peanut Butter protein powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt (optional to taste)
1/2 heaping cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until moistened. Pour into greased muffin tray or paper liners. Bake for 8-10 minutes until tops of muffins start to crack, or they pass the toothpick test. Recipe makes around 8 muffins. We usually double, they don't last long! These muffins will sink in the middle after being baked, also great straight from the fridge!
