ZMA has been a popular supplement in the health industry for years, but what is it and what does it do? We’re here to answer your basic questions about Forty Winkz ZMA including what role these compounds play in your body.
What is ZMA? (and What Does it Stand For?)
ZMA is a supplement traditionally made up of a synergistic blend including magnesium, zinc and vitamin B6.

Magnesium
While most brands you see in the industry today utilize magnesium aspartate, Earth Fed Muscle uses magnesium citrate for improved absorption and natural muscle relaxation for enhanced sleep.
Zinc
Zinc is an extremely important nutrient needed by the body for daily function. Zinc is found in cells throughout the body and plays a key role in immune system function for fighting off bacteria. Zinc also plays a role in producing proteins and DNA.
In our Forty Winkz ZMA formula, we utilize zinc L-carnosine instead of zinc monomethionine and zinc aspartate. Zinc L-carnosine is more bioavailable and helps balance the immune system, and balance hormone levels.
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 is the third component see in the basic ZMA formula. This water-soluble vitamin isn’t produced by your body so it’s important to obtain it from your diet. The benefits of vitamin B6 include improving mood, promoting brain health, preventing anemia, preventing clogged arteries, promoting eye health and treating inflammation.
While most ZMA supplements end there, Earth Fed Muscle’s ZMA Advanced has additional ingredients to make it a top supplement.
Even Earth Fed Elite athlete, Nick Gwiazdowski, says it's his favorite supplement!
Our ZMA Advanced also includes vitamin C, pantethine and choline bitartrate. Vitamin C is the king of antioxidants, giving your immune system, the extra boost it needs. Pantethine helps with cholesterol and decreases inflammation, we would even say it can improve serum cholesterol scores. Last but not least, choline bitartrate helps improve sleep and cognitive health.
