Lara Boman

Now a US Olympic Trials finalist in the women's hammer throw, Lara Boman began her college career as a soccer player. Three seasons and a torn hip labrum later, she asked AG Kruger to walk on to the University of South Dakota's track and field team. Why not get strong and learn something new? The next few years as a hammer thrower brought trips to the NCAA DI Indoor and Outdoor Championships and USATF Outdoor Championships. In 2019 Lara made the leap to post-collegiate competition, working alongside throwing at various times as a university instructor, personal trainer, grocery stocker and coach. In 2020, Lara made her first national finals at the USATF Indoor Championships and followed that up with a spot in finals at the 2021 US Olympic Trials. EFM's Whey Back Vanilla Protein and Keystone Collagen are Lara's favorite for staying healthy and strong while chasing big goals.
