    Why Casein? 

    To quote one of our recent articles:

    "Casein makes up 70-80% of the protein in bovine milk (milk from cattle). Casein is one of the most popular milk proteins out there today and is also considered a complete protein. Casein is able to form a micelle (a large particle) which forms a gel in the stomach, providing a slow release of amino acids in the bloodstream. This release can last for hours.

    While whey is typically metabolized and used for protein synthesis or oxidation within an hour of ingestion, casein is a slow-digesting protein. This means that it can be released into the bloodstream and take up to seven hours to fully digest."



    1 1/2 scoop Earth Fed Muscle Nocturnal Casein

    1 oz (or 2 tbsp) Chia Seeds

    1 cup Stonyfield Organic Yogurt (or yogurt of your choice)


    Combine all ingredients in a bowl and blend well.
