Most intra-workout supplements do not contain natural, clean ingredients. In fact, many of them contain artificial ingredients that could possibly produce negative side effects. That’s why Earth Fed Muscle developed Revival. This intra-sport has the cleanest ingredients that are strong enough to push elite athletes through their strenuous training and safe enough for a breastfeeding mother of twins to consume.

What Is Revival Intra-Sport?

Every scoop of Revival Intra-Sport contains a clean, refreshing mix of BCAAs, L-DOPA, L-Theanine and cluster dextrin. The ingredients in Revival were specifically chosen by Earth Fed Muscle founders to help maximize performance while training and competing without the unnecessary ingredients found in popular supplement brands you see today. We even recommend pairing it with our Max Effort Coffee or Stammpede as it has positive effects when combined with caffeine.

So what ingredients arefound in our Revival Intra-Sport?

The Ingredients in Our Revival Intra-Sport

The ingredients in Revival include:

BCAAs

BCAAs (short for branched chain amino acids) are a group of three essential amino acids: leucine, isoleucine, and valine.

BCAAs are considered essential because your body can’t produce them by itself, so it’s important you consume them through your diet.

While most amino acids are broken down by the liver, BCAAs are broken down in the muscle. For this reason, BCAAs are considered to be beneficial in the roles of energy production during training. (1) BCAAs are also used as building blocks for both protein and muscle which play a huge role in training and recovery. (2) Not only can BCAAs improve recovery, but they can also help reduce fatigue as well. They do this by reducing the production of serotonin in your brain.

Pretty crazy, huh?

L-DOPA/Mucuna Pruriens

L-DOPA is the next ingredient found in Revival. L-DOPA is a brain-based antioxidant that has a positive impact on stress management.

In fact, L-DOPA is considered a precursor to dopamine that passes the BBB (blood brain barrier). Think of the blood-brain barrier as a filter. It’s a filter of the capillaries, specifically, that carry blood to the brain and spinal cord tissue while blocking certain substances from getting in. Once L-DOPA passes the blood-brain barrier, it’s then taken up by dopaminergic neurons that convert it to dopamine and increase these neurons levels of dopamine and storage.

L-Theanine

A substance you might be surprised to find in this intra-workout is L-theanine. Typically a compound found in tea and other calming substances, L-theanine actually helps to promote calmness and sleep. This compound is actually an amino acid mainly found in tea leaves and some types of mushrooms.

L-theanine actually elevates different neurotransmitters in the brain including GABA, serotonin, and dopamine.

But how exactly does L-theanine benefit an athlete in the middle of a tough workout? Well, as it turns out, one of L-theanine’s qualities is that it enhances attention, focus, memory, and learning.

In fact, some studies have shown that L-theanine paired with caffeine can enhance cognitive skills. This includes enhancing your ability to process visual information and increase accuracy when switching tasks. This is why we often recommend drinking Max Effort Coffee or taking a scoop of Stammpede along with Revival mid-training.

Cluster Dextrin

As listed in the Revival product description, cluster dextrin provides a longer, sustained release of carbohydrate energy. Carbohydrate-based sports drinks have been around for years. Gatorade and other commercialized drinks alike have been advertised as the ultimate hydrating drinks, but are you look at the actual list of ingredients?

We chose to include cluster dextrin in our intra-workout for a few reasons. Cluster dextrin is different from other high GI carbohydrates like Maltodextrin and Dextrose due to its sustained release of energy vs. its fellow carbohydrates that cause a spike in blood sugar insulin response. It also passes through your system faster which makes it more readily available for your body to use as fuel.

Bottom Line

Whether you feel like your training is missing something or you just want to add a bit more of a boost to your daily routine, our Revival Intra-Sport can truly benefit anyone.
