What supplements would you suggest for someone just starting CrossFit?
I would recommend at least a protein + creatine stack to start (Assuming they've done some exercising before Crossfit). This would be a good stack to get started on & from there they could add on as they gain more experience.
Can creatine be beneficial for a CrossFit athlete?
100% yes. You can debate all day about the effectiveness of certain supplements. However, there is no debate with creatine. It simply works and has been backed with decades of research. Creatine is for anyone looking to gain strength or endurance.
If you train multiple times a day, how do you align your supplementation to get the most out of each workout?
I go a little bit crazy with it, but, I take 1/2 scoop of Stampede Pre-Workout with creatine. Then, throughout the workout I sip on 1 scoop of EFM Protein + 1 scoop Gatorade powder. Then, immediately post workout I have 1.5scoops of EFM protein + 1.5 scoops Gatorade powder. I vary this depending on the intensity of the workouts but that is pretty standard on my 2 a day training days.
What's your favorite EFM Protein flavor?
Strawberry! I often drink my strawberry protein with blue gatorade powder and it's game time. I have an issue drinking it all right away haha so I have to have a separate water bottle to sip on throughout the workout also.
