I'm always a fan of having dessert for breakfast-- especially when its packed FULL of protein, fiber, and heart healthy oats. One of my favorite candy bars is Almond Joy and I knew I had to recreate it for my morning overnight oats. As the temperatures start to get cooler and we eventually dream of sitting next to the ocean instead of in our ice cold offices, this coconutty, chocolate-y combo will transport you straight to a tropical beach somewhere:
Start by added your oats, chia seeds, hemp hearts, shredded coconut, and whey to a mason jar or tupperware. Give it a quick mix before adding in your milk then stir through until combined. You can either add your chocolate chips and almonds on top now or wait until right before you serve to avoid them getting soggy. How can something so good for you taste so naughty!?
